What does this picture tell you about reaching your customers?
Need a hint?
This is a picture from the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. For days after the storm many residents were without power. Electricity was in high demand not for lights but for charging mobile devices.
What this picture tells you is how high of an importance we place on communications, specifically mobile communications. Residents of New York City were desperate for charging stations like the one pictured above.
They, and many people across the country, conduct most of the communications on mobile devices. Of course they make phone calls, but they text, they surf the net, they download and interact with application specific to their phones.
What this should tell you is that if you do not have a mobile presence you are not communicating. You are not where everyone else – where your customer are. And if you are not communicating with your customers you are not making sales.
