We all have our tool belt of digital marketing that we use on a regular basis. We will use social media to keep in contact, and email marketing to initiate action. But we also have other tools available to us to keep our name top of mind with customers that are not designed to be marketing tools.
Surveys are something that we at Performance Tech Solutions always emphasize. We encourage people not to guess what people are thinking, but to actually find out. But what we have found is that companies will do one survey and stop when actually the surveys should continue. Over time the answers to our questions will change and we should be on top of it. But it is also a marketing tool.
Each survey reveals more information about your visitors, but it is also an interaction you have with the customer. It is one more reminder that you are here. It help with “top of mind” efforts.
There is a fine line between too little surviving and too much surveying. If you survey too much your data will become skewed and users become frustrated. Survey too little and you never develop a moving picture of your data and you lose the contact with the customer. Each demographic has their own sweet spot. This is found through trial and error and monitoring the data
There are many tools that serve a great purpose for us elsewhere in our business but can also bolster our marketing efforts. Don’t overlook the primary and secondary benefits of surveys.
